1. Clivia miniata: The leaves of this variety are no more than 5 cm wide. Its flowers are shaped like trumpets, with both wide and thin petals. Usually the inner petals are wider, the flower color is mostly orange, and the inner core is yellow-white. There are usually 20 flowers in one bud, and occasionally up to 40.

2. Slender-leaved Clivia: It is also called garden Clivia. The plant height is 8-13 cm. The leaves are bright green, 35-90 cm long, and the widest is only 6 cm. The whole plant is narrow and long, and the top is relatively pointed. Its flowering period is from late autumn to winter. The flowers are orange-red with green tips on the petals and the flowers are slightly drooping.

3. Stem Clivia: Usually the stems of Clivia are very short, or almost stemless. This flower has an above-ground stem that is 1 meter long, and very few can grow up to 3 meters. The leaves are arcuate, 3.5-7 cm long and 3-6 cm wide. Its flowering period is in spring and summer. The flowers will droop naturally, and are orange-red in color with green at the tip.

It blooms from March to August, with 15 to 40 flowers in one inflorescence.

5. Yellow Clivia: The biggest feature of this variety is that its flowers are yellow, instead of the common orange-red or orange-yellow. In addition, the plant is relatively strong and suitable for growing in warm and humid semi-shaded places. It has poor cold resistance and can be planted in the ground in the south, but can only be grown indoors in the north.

Its biggest feature is that there is a white stripe in the middle of the leaf. Its seeds usually mature in 5 months and grow faster in semi-arid areas.
