1. Choose a pot

When choosing a flowerpot for planting pitaya, it is best to choose a loose and breathable clay pot. When planting pitaya, use clean water to soak the flowerpot for a period of time to allow the dirty gas in the pores on the wall of the flowerpot to be discharged, otherwise it will affect the growth of the plant's roots.

2. Soil

It is best to use slightly acidic soil for planting pitaya, neutral soil is also acceptable, but it must be loose and breathable. You can use leaf mold, coarse river sand and garden soil yourself, mix them in a certain proportion and use them.

3. Potting method

Sprinkle coarse stones at the bottom of the flowerpot, then pour soil into the flowerpot, sprinkle the prepared dragon fruit seeds on the soil, and then gently spray water with a spray bottle, then cover the flowerpot with plastic wrap, place it in a warm place, and be careful to keep the soil moist. The seeds will germinate in about 3 to 5 days, then remove the plastic wrap and carefully maintain it.
