How to water hydrangeas? Watering them this way will make the flowers bloom beautifully!

Growth habit

Hydrangea can also be called hydrangea. It is mostly distributed in southern my country and is also grown in northern China. It has bright, full-bodied flowers and is an excellent shrub. Hydrangeas prefer a shady and warm environment and are mostly grown as flower bed plants. Sometimes they are also planted in courtyards and are often placed indoors for viewing.

Watering management

When we grow hydrangeas indoors, we need to pay special attention to the amount of water. The roots of white calla lilies are fleshy roots. If you water them too much, the roots will rot, so you can't water them too much. In summer, it is enough to water once in the morning and once in the evening. The amount of watering should be controlled according to the moisture of the potting soil. Under normal circumstances, it is enough to water until the potting soil is moist.

In winter, the indoor temperature should be kept above 5 degrees and watering should be reduced. The new branches growing from the top of the hydrangea should be pruned in time, and water should be avoided in the flowerpot during the rainy season. After the flowering period, a small amount of fertilizer should be applied, and watering should be carried out using a mixture of fertilizer and water.

During the growth period, the plant's physiological activities are vigorous and the corresponding water demand is also greater, so at this time, it is particularly important to pay attention to maintaining sufficient water and remove withered flowers and branches, which is conducive to the production of new branches. After the new branches grow taller, they should be topped off, which will help the next flowering.

Soil selection

The editor would like to say that the choice of soil will also affect the absorption of water. Therefore, when choosing soil, pay attention to choosing loose and fertile soil, so that the drainage will be better, which will be more conducive to the absorption of flowers and prevent root rot.
