Planting time and method of Artemisia chinensis

Planting time of Artemisia chinensis

Small-leaf chrysanthemum is usually planted in spring or autumn. It grows relatively fast and is cold-resistant, but the overall yield is not very high. If it is planted in the southern region, it can be planted in spring, autumn and winter as long as the conditions are right.

How to plant Artemisia chinensis

1. Soil configuration : Small-leaf chrysanthemum generally uses loose, fertile, well-drained acidic soil. It cannot use too sticky soil or soil with heavy salinity.

2. Reasonable watering: After planting, small-leaf chrysanthemum requires good water management. Because the temperature in winter and spring is relatively low, it is sufficient to keep the soil moist at ordinary times. Do not cause water accumulation, and properly control the water after the seedlings emerge.

3. Reasonable top dressing: Fertilizer control is required in the early stage of planting small-leaf chrysanthemum, and top dressing cannot be performed before transplanting, because general base fertilizer can meet the needs of the plant. Top dressing can only be performed when the seedlings are 10 cm tall.

Precautions for planting Artemisia chrysanthemum

1. When caring for small-leaf chrysanthemum, you need to pay attention to ensuring a good ventilation environment and avoid an environment that is too hot and stuffy, otherwise it will cause diseases and insect pests, which will affect its growth. After the occurrence, you need to use medication in time.

2. During the maintenance period, small-leaf chrysanthemum needs a suitable lighting environment, especially after the seedlings emerge. Adequate sunlight can allow it to grow well and increase the growth rate.
