What does Nephrolepis do?

The ornamental value of Nephrolepis

As a small branch of ornamental ferns, Nephrolepis has extremely high ornamental and gardening value. The leaves of the kidney fern are emerald green and shiny, it has strong adaptability and relatively tenacious vitality. It basically does not require human care and is extremely easy to maintain. Therefore, it is often planted in gardens to embellish the landscape. Sometimes it is also planted in pots to decorate the home and for people to appreciate.

Medicinal value of Nephrolepis

The kidney fern looks inconspicuous, and those who don’t know much about it may even think it is just a weed, but it contains a variety of chemical components, such as rebecca, glucose, and redox alcohol, which are all excellent raw materials for making medicines. There are records of Nephrolepis chinensis in many medical books, such as "Sichuan Chinese Materia Medica", "Quanzhou Materia Medica" and "Chinese Materia Medica".
Having said so much, I have only said that kidney fern has medicinal value, but I have not told you what kind of diseases kidney fern can treat. The effects of kidney fern are mainly manifested in three aspects. First, it can heal wounds, such as knife wounds, burns and scalds (if you are injured in the wild, find kidney fern, chew or smash it, and apply it to the wound to play a certain role in anti-inflammatory, detoxification and healing); second, it can detoxify, clear away heat, remove fire, and promote urination; third, it can treat infertility, breast swelling, and lymph node tuberculosis. When treating such diseases, it is generally used as an auxiliary medicine, not the main ingredient of the medicine.
