In this case, the repotting can be postponed until autumn.

How to repot bougainvillea

Do not water the bougainvillea before removing it from the pot. Take the bougainvillea plant out of the pot, trim off all damaged roots, soak it in a sterilization solution for disinfection, take it out and place it aside to dry, and trim the branches and leaves on the plant appropriately.
