How to make orchid bonsai (steps and cultivation precautions)

1. Production steps

1. Select seedlings: When making orchid bonsai, you must first select the orchid seedlings and divide them into several clumps. There are about three seedlings in each cluster, and the seedlings should be tall and short, tender and old, long and short. In this way, the overall sense of layering will be stronger and the shape will be more beautiful.

2. Choose a pot: The flower pot is usually a purple clay pot or a ceramic pot. The pot should not be too shallow, otherwise the orchid will not survive easily. It can't be too deep, otherwise the shape will not be beautiful. Choose one with medium height. The shapes are mostly round, but of course you can choose the one you like.

3. Planting: Potting is usually done in spring. When planting, the orchid seedlings cannot be planted in a line. They should be planted in a triangle so that there are leaves scattered on each side. Then use one hand to support and the other hand to fill the soil, and then compact the soil. After planting, you can put a layer of gravel on the surface of the potting soil to make it more beautiful.

2. Breeding precautions

1. Light: When caring for orchid bonsai, place it in a cool place and avoid exposing it to the sun, especially strong light, which will directly burn the leaves, causing them to wilt and turn yellow, seriously affecting their viewing experience.

2. Watering: The soil in the pot should be moist during maintenance and watering should be done according to the actual temperature. Water more when the temperature is high, and control the water and water less in winter.

3. Fertilization: When caring for bonsai, you should also pay attention to fertilization and supplement nutrients so that it will grow more vigorously and be more beautiful. Fertilization is mainly done from May to September, with a thin layer of fertilizer water applied once every half a month.
