How to grow cymbidium

1. Breeding environment

1. Soil: When breeding, you need to use soil that is breathable, loose and fertile. You can prepare it yourself with leaf mold and garden soil mixed with an appropriate amount of sand. In addition, it is important to disinfect the soil before burying it, using high-temperature disinfection to prevent insect eggs from forming inside.

2. Watering: It likes a humid environment, and its roots have a strong ability to store water. Therefore, you can add more water at ordinary times, especially in summer. In addition to irrigation, you should also sprinkle more water around the plant to cool it down. The approximate frequency is twice a day in summer and once every three or four days in other seasons.

3. Temperature: The most suitable temperature is between 10 and 25 degrees. It is not resistant to high temperatures, so pay attention to cooling when the temperature exceeds 35 degrees in summer. In winter, it is best to keep the temperature above 10 degrees to avoid frostbite.

4. Light: It likes scattered light and cannot tolerate strong sunlight. Pay attention to shade in summer. The light is weak in winter, so full sunlight can be given.

2. Common pests and diseases

If the ventilation is poor and the environment is unsuitable during maintenance, it is easy to cause diseases and pests, the most common of which are fungal anthracnose, bacterial diseases and some pests and diseases. Once the diseased leaves are obviously visible, the condition of the plant will also be affected, and pesticides should be sprayed as soon as possible to prevent the situation from worsening and hindering growth.
