Can the fortune tree survive hydroponically?

Can the fortune tree survive hydroponically?

1. Can hydroponics survive?

The money tree can be grown hydroponically, but this is only suitable for smaller plants. If the plant is large, it will not only be difficult to find a flowerpot that is too big, but it will also be difficult to fix, causing it to grow crooked, making it look unsightly.

2. How to hydroponically cultivate

1. Select seedlings for planting: For hydroponic money trees, choose sturdy seedlings that are free from diseases and pests. After washing away the soil from the roots of the sapling, place it upright in a vase and put some stones at the bottom to hold it in place. Then pour enough water to ensure that the bottom is in contact with the water, but not too deeply immersed.

2. Change and add water: Before the hydroponic money tree takes root, the water needs to be changed every few days. Prevent bacteria from growing when water quality deteriorates, which is detrimental to newly grown roots. Once the roots grow out, you can add appropriate amount of water every day and there is no need to change the water frequently.

3. Adequate light: The hydroponic money tree needs sufficient light, but it should not be exposed to direct sunlight at noon. You can place it in a place with scattered light, or provide appropriate shade to avoid strong light burning the leaves.

4. Appropriate fertilization: Hydroponic money trees need to be fertilized with nutrient solution. The concentration of the nutrient solution should not be too high to avoid damage to the roots.
