1. Bud graftingWhen using this method, you need to cut horizontally from 1 cm below the bud upwards, stopping when it is 0.5 cm above the bud, and then cut horizontally on the bud to remove the bud slices. The cut of the rootstock should be about 5cm-15cm from the ground, with a cross-cut width of 1cm. Then make a cross-cut from the middle downwards, peel off its bark and insert the cut buds. After tying them up, expose the bud eyes. 2. Cutting methodThe rootstock should be kept at 15-20cm, and the part above should be cut off. The scion should be cut 1.5cm below the bud, and then peeled from the bottom of the bud downwards. Make a longitudinal cut when the rootstock is 10 cm above the ground, then insert the scion into the rootstock, and finally tie it from bottom to top. 3. Belly graftingWhen doing this, cut 3-5cm diagonally downward from the grafting position, and then cut the bark vertically. Then select a fuller bud from the scion and shorten it from the bottom. Finally, insert the scion into the cut in the bark, then cut the branch 1cm above the bud, and then tie it up with film. |
