How to plant strawberry seeds, when and how to plant strawberries

1. Planting time

The best time to plant strawberries is from July to August in summer. During this period, the temperature is relatively high and the humidity is also high, so the survival rate of planting is high.

2. Seed Processing

Collect the ripe fruits, take out the seeds, clean the pulp attached to them, wash them in clean water, remove the juice, then take them out of the water and place them in a well-ventilated place to dry. If it is not time to plant yet, you can store them somewhere else first. Take out the seeds before planting, soak them in clean water for a few hours, and wait for the seeds to absorb water and swell.

3. Choose pot and soil

You can choose breathable clay pots for flower pots, mainly because of their transparent texture. Fill them with suitable soil, which should be loose, nutritious and well-drained. The soil needs to be disinfected before use to remove the bacteria and insect eggs inside. Some base fertilizer also needs to be added.

4. Planting in pots

Fill it with soil, then plant the seeds in, cover the surface with a thin layer of soil, not too thick, then water it to keep the soil loose. The seedlings can be transplanted after they have grown stably. After planting, pay attention to fertilizer and water management to maintain their subsequent growth.
