First Love breeding methods and precautions

First Love cultivation method: light

First Love needs to receive sufficient light so that the leaf color will be bright, the plant shape will be more compact and beautiful, and the leaves will be thick. If there is less sunlight, the leaf color will be lighter, the leaf arrangement will be looser, the distance between the leaves will gradually lengthen, and the leaves will become thinner. To cultivate the state of first love, light is necessary.

The main growing seasons of First Love are spring and autumn. It has no obvious dormant period. It should be kept in a sunny place indoors in winter.

First Love's cultivation method: water and fertilizer

Water thoroughly when the soil is dry, and reduce watering in summer. When the air is dry, you can sprinkle water around the plant, but do not allow water to accumulate on the leaves, especially in the leaf center, otherwise it will easily cause heart rot.

The main purpose of fertilization is to promote the growth of plants. Generally, thin liquid fertilizer is applied once every 20 days.

How to grow first love: Temperature

The suitable temperature for the growth period of First Love is 15~25℃, and it can safely survive the winter if the temperature is not lower than 5℃ in winter.

Generally, First Love is kept in a sunroom. Once the temperature is higher than 35℃, it needs to be shaded in time and then water should be cut off slowly. When the temperature is above 35℃ in the summer, the plant will enter a short dormant period and water will be gradually cut off. When the temperature drops in September, water supply will be resumed.

In winter, when the temperature is above 0℃, you can give water. When it is above 0℃, cut off the water supply, otherwise it is easy to get frostbite.

First Love Breeding Precautions

First Love is a thin-leaved stone lotus. It will turn green if there is a lack of light, turn pink if there is more light, and eventually turn purple-red, so it is necessary to ensure sufficient light during the growth period.

Because the maintenance seasons, climates, and regions are different, there are no strict requirements for the amount of watering. Generally, water the plant 2 to 3 times a month to ensure adequate water supply.
