What to do if the black orchid does not bloom

What to do if the black orchid does not bloom

Lighting issues

Light is a very important factor in the formation of flower buds of Mo Lan. Generally speaking, Mo Lan needs two or three hours of sunlight every day so that it can grow flower buds better. If the leaves of the orchid are emerald green and upright, it means that the plant has enough normal sunlight; if the leaves are dull and slightly wilted, it means that the sunlight time is too short and the sunlight exposure needs to be increased appropriately; if the leaves of the black orchid are yellow, it means that there is too much light and appropriate shading is needed to reduce sunlight.

Temperature issues

Temperature regulation is also an important condition for the flowering of Mo Lan. If you want Mo Lan to bloom normally, the temperature difference between day and night needs to reach a difference of more than 10℃. Generally, Mo Lan grows and develops most vigorously and blooms more in an environment where the daytime temperature is 18-21℃ and the nighttime temperature is around 7-10℃. It is very important to control the night temperature. Once the temperature is high at night, it will easily cause the flower buds of the Mo Orchid to fall and the leaves to wilt. If the temperature is too low, some spots will easily grow on the leaves of the Mo Orchid, and the flower buds will not grow well. If the temperature is too low during flowering, dark brown spots will grow on the petals, affecting the quality of the flowers.

Moisture Problems

The amount of water is another important factor affecting the flowering of Mo Lan. If you do not control watering and end up watering too much, it will easily cause the plant to grow too tall and not sprout flower buds. This is also an important reason why many people's Mo Lan grows too tall and does not bloom. Therefore, during the maintenance process, you must pay attention to controlling the water content and keep the soil moist. Be careful not to water too much. Only reasonable maintenance can promote the normal flowering of Mo Lan flower buds.

Fertilizer issues

Fertilizer management will also more or less affect the flowering of Mo Lan. During normal cultivation, it is necessary to pay attention to strengthening care so that the Mo Lan plants can grow healthily, make the plants more robust and upright, and increase branches. Especially during the period of germination of flower buds, it is necessary to increase sunlight exposure according to the situation, and at the same time, apply some fertilizers mainly phosphorus fertilizer and potassium fertilizer to promote the normal flowering of Mo Lan.
