How to plant lotus seeds

1. Processing seeds

Before sowing water lilies, you should choose plump and healthy seeds and break the concave side of the seeds. You can use pliers or rub them on the ground. It is not necessary to remove the shell. Be careful not to damage the embryo when breaking the seeds.

2. Germination

Put clean warm water in a bowl, put the cracked seeds in to soak, change the water 2-3 times a day, and it will sprout in about 2 days, and the sprouts will grow very long in about 7 days.

3. Transplant

When transplanting, you should first find a flowerpot, fill it with river pond mud rich in humus, add an appropriate amount of water, and then plant the germinated seedlings in the soil. As long as the water does not exceed its small buds, it will be fine. Finally, put in sterilized sand.
