How to deal with hyacinth flowers withering

1. Hydroponics

1. Continue to keep it in water: After the flowers fade, you can continue to keep it in water until June. Its leaves will enter a dormant state due to the high temperature and become withered and yellow.

2. Cut off leaves: Cut off all the yellow leaves and the roots.

3. Refrigeration: Place the bulbs in a cool place to dry for 1 to 2 days, then wrap the bulbs with paper and put them in the jar.

4. Temperature: In summer, the temperature must be kept below 10 degrees, otherwise the bulbs will rot.

5. Recultivation: By November, the temperature will gradually drop. You can take out the refrigerated bulbs, place them at the mouth of the vase, and then start adding water. The water surface should be 1 cm away from the bottom of the bulbs. Then you can place it in a lightless place and keep the temperature at 5 degrees. It will start to grow roots in about 25 days. When the roots grow to 2 cm, you can follow the normal method to grow it until it blooms.

2. Soil culture of hyacinth

1. Keep the bulb: After the flowers fade, you can cut off all the leaves and flower stems, but leave the bulb. Then bury its root bulb in the soil and wait for summer to come.

2. Recultivation: Wait until the end of July, dig its bulbs out of the soil, put them in the refrigerator, keep the temperature at 4 degrees, and wait for it to germinate. When the buds grow out, you can continue to bury it in the soil and water it once every 15 days. By December, you can recultivate it.
