Why doesn't baby's breath bloom?

Why doesn't baby's breath bloom?

1. The temperature is too low or too high

The growth temperature of this plant is between 15 and 25 degrees. If the temperature is higher than 30 degrees or lower than 10 degrees, the plant will grow in clusters, causing the stems to continue growing and the flowering period to be far away. Therefore, the temperature must be well controlled during daily maintenance.

2. Too little watering

After the plant is planted, it must be given sufficient water. If there is insufficient water, the growth of the seedlings will slow down first, and it will be difficult to grow branches, causing the plant to grow clumpingly, thus affecting its flowering. However, sufficient water does not mean excessive watering. If water accumulates in the potting soil or the soil is too wet for a long time, the roots of the plant will rot. In severe cases, the entire plant will wither and die. Also, reduce watering when the plant enters its flowering phase.

3. Insufficient nutrients

Once nutrients are insufficient, the plants will have problems even in their growth and development, let alone flowering. Therefore, we need to repot the plants and replace the nutrient-rich soil every spring, and apply fertilizer every 15 days during the growing season. This can promote the growth of plant branches, make them lush and leafy, and also prepare them for flowering. Also, when entering the flowering period, you must control fertilization. If you still apply fertilizer and water normally at this time, it will easily make the branches become weak and powerless, and eventually cause the flowers to wither prematurely.
