What to do if the violet leaves are rotten

What to do if the violet leaves are rotten

1. Place in a ventilated place

(1) Specific reasons: Sometimes, we are not careful when watering and water splashes onto the leaves. Or when spraying water in summer, a lot of water remains on the leaves and does not evaporate. These situations may cause the leaves to rot.

(2) Solution: Place it in a cool, ventilated place to allow the moisture on the leaves to evaporate quickly. When spraying water afterwards, be sure to place it in a ventilated place.

2. Prevent and control pests and diseases

If it encounters diseases and insect pests, it is very likely to endanger the leaves and cause them to rot. Specifically, there are many types.

(1) Downy mildew: more common in spring. It is more common in areas with poor drainage and excessive density. In the early stages of the disease, light green spots appear on the leaves, and then the leaves begin to rot. Clean up the diseased leaves in time and then use fungicide.

(2) Fusarium wilt: This is a disease that mainly targets leaves and may cause the leaves to rot. Potassium permanganate solution can be used for prevention and control. In addition, soil disinfection is also very important.

(3) Mosaic disease: This disease mainly targets leaves and flowers, and the leaves are severely affected. Its virus is mainly transmitted by aphids, so it can be combined with pest control.

(4) Aphids: This is the main type of pest. In addition, as mentioned above, insects can also spread certain types of viruses, causing other diseases. Special insecticides such as imidacloprid can be used.
