Why are the leaves of the golden diamond drooping?

Why are the leaves of the golden diamond drooping?

1. Improper watering

1. Reason: Diamond Plant likes moisture but cannot tolerate waterlogging. Excessive watering will cause water accumulation in the potting soil, affecting the breathing of the plant roots, causing root rot and the leaves to droop.

2. Solution: Watering should be appropriate. In summer, the temperature is high and the water evaporates quickly, so watering is needed every other day. In autumn and winter, the temperature is low and the water evaporates slowly, so watering two or three times a month is sufficient. Before watering, observe the condition of the soil in the pot first. You can water it only when the soil is completely dry. If it is moist, wait until it is dry before watering.

2. The temperature is too low

1. Reason: It is suitable for growing at a temperature of about 20 degrees. If the temperature is too low, the leaves will droop.

2. Solution: If the growth temperature is too low, you need to adjust the temperature to around 20 degrees.

3. Insufficient nutrients

1. Reason: During the growth period, it has relatively high requirements for nutrients. If the nutrients cannot keep up, its leaves will droop.

2. Solution: Because its root system is fragile, do not apply fertilizers with too high concentrations or raw fertilizers. Therefore, animal manure is the most suitable because it is easy to decompose and absorb.

4. Insufficient humidity

1. Reason: Diamondwood likes moisture. If the humidity of the growing environment is insufficient, the leaves will droop.

2. Solution: Spray the branches and leaves of the golden diamond with water mist every morning and evening to keep them moist. The finer the sprayed water mist, the better, so that the plants can absorb it more easily.
