The reason why Kalanchoe is lush but does not bloom

The reason why Kalanchoe is lush but does not bloom

1. Excessive application of nitrogen fertilizer

1. Reason: There are two ways of growth of Kalanchoe, one is vegetative growth and the other is reproductive growth. If too much nitrogen fertilizer is applied to it during breeding, it will grow vegetatively. At this time, most of its nutrients will be used for the growth of branches and leaves, rather than for flowering.

2. Treatment method: At this time, if you want it to bloom, you need to change its growth pattern. Specifically, you can reduce the application of nitrogen fertilizer and instead apply some flower fertilizers containing more phosphorus and potassium. In this way, it will transform into reproductive growth, thus growing buds and blooming flowers.

2. Unsuitable light exposure

1. Reason: Sunlight is also a very important factor affecting its flowering. It must not only be sufficient, but also uniform, otherwise the plant may not be able to bloom.

2. Treatment method: First, increase the plant's light exposure time to ensure that it receives at least 4 hours of direct sunlight every day. If the light intensity is insufficient, the light exposure time needs to be extended. Secondly, to ensure that it receives even light, you need to rotate the flower pot every few days.

3. Temperature discomfort

1. Reason: If the temperature is not suitable, it will be difficult for the plant to form buds and thus fail to bloom.

2. Treatment method: Try to control the temperature between 5-25℃, preferably around 15℃.
