How to care for the newly bought jade dew

1. Lighting

Jade plant likes light. After you buy it home, you can cultivate it in an environment with sufficient soft and diffuse light, and slowly adapt it to the light intensity. Do not provide too much shade, which will cause the plant to grow slowly and have poor adaptability. Also do not expose it to direct sunlight to avoid burning the leaves.

2. Watering

After you buy the jade plant home, you should water it thoroughly the first time you water it, and then don't water it again. Wait until the soil is completely dry before watering again. Adhere to the principle of "don't water unless it's dry, and water thoroughly when you do". If the surrounding environment is relatively dry, you can spray some water to maintain the humidity of the environment.

3. Fertilization

Don't fertilize the jade plant you just bought. It has just arrived in the new environment and has not yet fully adapted. The plant is relatively fragile. Fertilizing at this time will not only fail to promote plant growth, but will cause root burn because the plant cannot fully absorb the fertilizer. You can apply some dilute liquid fertilizer or compound fertilizer after the plant adapts to the environment.

4. Temperature

Jade plant prefers a higher temperature environment. After you buy it, you need to control the temperature between 15-25℃, so that it can adapt to the new environment faster. If the temperature is too high or too low, it will delay the process of adapting to the new environment.
