How to grow white orchid in autumn

1. How much water to use

The amount of watering depends on the growth of the plant and weather conditions. In summer, more water will be used because the evaporation rate is faster. However, as the weather gradually gets cooler in autumn, the evaporation of water will decrease, so you should water less accordingly. It is quite sensitive to water. When there is too much water in the soil, the roots will rot and the leaves will turn yellow. In severe cases, the leaves will fall and die.

2. Increase or decrease of light

It is suitable for growing in places with full sunlight and is not shade-tolerant at all. Therefore, when caring for it, it requires sufficient light. If there is insufficient light, it will cause the branches and leaves to grow too long or fail to bloom. In autumn, the light is not as strong, and the leaves will no longer curl and turn yellow, so you can expose the plant to more light to promote its growth.

3. Stop fertilizing

Starting from May, fertilizer should be applied every 7 to 10 days in order for the flowers to bloom, but from the end of September in autumn, fertilization needs to be stopped.
