How to grow southern mustard

Growth habit

This flower grows very fast when it is small, but it blooms relatively early, basically in spring. So, plant them early. They like sunlight and are relatively drought resistant. Since they bloom in spring, it is not difficult to know that they can also tolerate low temperatures. They will not be able to bear it when the temperature reaches -15℃. Therefore, it is fine to plant this kind of flower on the balcony, in the garden, or on the roof.

Maintenance points

temperature

It was mentioned above that this flower can withstand low temperatures, but that does not mean that a low temperature environment is suitable for its growth. In fact, this flower is best suited to an environment maintained at around 5-22 degrees Celsius. If the temperature is too high, you can apply water mist around them to cool them down in time, or put them in a better ventilated location to cool them down. If the temperature conditions are not good and you are worried about them getting frostbite, you can plant them indoors. Take it out when the temperature is better the next year. But please note that you cannot place them where they are directly blown by the air conditioner, as this will be detrimental to their growth.

Water and fertilizer

Generally, plants require the use of water and fertilizer together, and the time when they need water and fertilizer the most is the time when they grow best. This kind of flower usually blooms after April, so phosphorus fertilizer should be used twice before April, so that it can bloom better during the flowering period. In the season with the highest temperature, you should not water the plants when it is hottest, nor should you think that heat requires water. Plants are different from humans. When the temperature is too high, the flowers will begin to hibernate and stop growing, and they will not need nutrients. Therefore, if the soil is not too dry, you can choose not to water them, but if you do water them, be sure to water them enough at one time.
