Breeding methods and precautions of four-season azalea

1. Matrix

Rhododendron has high requirements for soil and is best cultivated using red soil. The pH value of red soil must be controlled just right, not too high or too low, otherwise it will be detrimental to the growth of Rhododendron sempervivum.

2. Lighting

Rhododendron australis likes plenty of sunlight. It should not be exposed to high temperatures in the summer and should be shaded. During the flowering period, you must also protect the flowers from light and avoid direct sunlight, otherwise it will affect the quality of the flowers.

3. Nutrients

During the growth process, appropriate nutrients should be supplemented. Apply less fertilizer each time and increase the frequency of fertilization appropriately. Fertilizer should not be used during the high temperatures in summer.

4. Water

The four-season azalea can be watered twice a day. In autumn and winter, try to control the number of watering. In spring and summer, pay attention to watering it and replenish water. Watering should be done with tap water, and it is best to leave it for about two days before watering.
