The Light of the Dripping Water Guanyin

Guanyin likes a warm, humid and slightly shaded environment, but it needs plenty of sunlight during the flowering period, otherwise the spathe will turn green and affect the quality. It is necessary to ensure 3-5 hours of light every day, otherwise the petiole will elongate and affect the ornamental value.

Note: The weeping angel is not very cold-resistant and needs to be transplanted into the greenhouse in mid-October. In summer, you need to spray water frequently to cool down and keep moisturized under shade.

Dripping Guanyin water fertilizer

The weeping angel likes moist and fertile soil, which is often called "lots of fertilizer and lots of water". During the growth period, it needs more watering and topdressing. Liquid fertilizers such as decomposed bean cake water can be applied in rotation with chemical fertilizers, and topdressing should be done once every 2 weeks. When applying liquid fertilizer, be careful not to pour the fertilizer into the leaf tips to avoid rot. Ferrous sulfate is used in potted weeping angel plants. Topdressing with ferrous sulfate can make the leaves of the weeping angel plant larger, thicker, greener, smoother and more shiny, and the petioles are not likely to elongate, thus ensuring the beauty of the leaves. At the same time, it can promote the formation of flower buds and prolong the flowering period.

Method: Dilute ferrous sulfate into a 2% solution and apply it once every month, making sure to water thoroughly each time.

Preventing Yellowing of Weeping Goddess of Mercer Leaves

The water lily is native to subhumid tropical rain forests. It likes scattered light and does not like direct sunlight. It should be placed in a semi-shaded place in spring and autumn, in the shade in summer, and indoors in winter. If the sunlight is too strong, the leaves will be sunburned and turn yellow.

However, "things rely on sunlight for growth". If they are placed in living rooms, bedrooms, etc. for a long time, insufficient or no light will affect their growth and morphological formation. Under such conditions, the internodes of the plants are particularly long, the leaves are underdeveloped and small, and they appear yellow due to the lack of chlorophyll.

In addition, the weeping angel likes high temperature and high humidity. You should apply some fertilizer appropriately and pay attention to watering it more to increase its resistance to the environment and keep its leaves greener.

Keep the soil in the pot of the weeping angel moist by exposing the roots a little. Water the soil when it feels dry and water it thoroughly at once. If the leaves turn yellow, cut them off at the roots, being careful not to damage other leaves.
