Cutting propagation

Generally, cutting propagation is carried out from March to April. First, you need to select 1 to 2 year old branches from particularly healthy plants, cut them into 2 nodes, and tie them up into cuttings between 10 and 15 cm long. Then soak their base ends in 0.05ml/l No. 3 ABT rooting powder solution for two or three minutes, then quickly dip them in 1ml/l NAA solution and they can be used for cuttings. This will significantly increase the survival rate. The plant will take root one month after planting. After it takes root, you need to loosen the soil in time and apply appropriate amount of fertilizer to speed up its growth.

Seed propagation

Generally, the seeds can be collected when the fruit matures from October to December, and then mixed in the ratio of one part wet fine sand to one part seeds and placed in a relatively dry and ventilated place indoors, or they can be stored in a wooden box, also in a ventilated room. You can take out the seeds and sow them in February or March of the following year. The seeds will germinate in about 20 days. It is also necessary to loosen the soil and apply fertilizer when raising seedlings to promote growth.

Propagation by division

This method is suitable for early spring or late autumn. Cut the coral grass 10 cm above the soil, dig out the rest, and cut it into small plants with roots according to the stems for planting. After that, you need to water continuously to keep the soil at a reasonable moisture level, and apply fertilizer and weed in time. This method has a high survival rate and growth rate.
