How to grow frangipani in potted plants

Plant characteristics

This plant is a positive tree species, so first of all, it has relatively high requirements for light. If there is insufficient light, it may not bloom or bloom very little, and only grow leaves. Secondly, it likes to grow in a hot and humid environment, neither too dry nor too waterlogged. There are also some requirements for the soil. It is best to be acidic, fertile, breathable and water-permeable, and rich in organic matter. Also, its cold tolerance is very poor.

Specific methods

temperature:

We said above that it likes high temperature environment and is very not cold-resistant. Its most suitable temperature is 20 to 26 degrees Celsius, so temperature is a factor we need to pay special attention to, especially in winter. Generally speaking, the winter overwintering temperature should not be lower than eight degrees, so growers in northern areas should not forget to keep it indoors for the winter.

soil:

In addition to the factors mentioned above, it is best to have a loose texture and contain more humus.

Moisture:

In general, plants require a lot of water, but not too much or too little. In spring and autumn, you can water the plants every one to two days. In summer, you can water more frequently, once in the morning. Observe the condition of the soil in the evening. If it is dry, water it again. In winter, once every ten days or half a month is enough.

illumination:

This is very important. With sufficient light, plants can grow more vigorously and their fragrance can be more intense. Except for a short period of shade just after transplanting or changing the soil, the plant may receive more sunlight at other times.

Repotting:

This plant needs to be repotted in spring and the soil should also be renewed. After changing the plants, remember to water them sufficiently.
