How to grow the succulent Huangli

How to grow the succulent Huangli

temperature:

It is the primary factor that promotes the healthy growth of plants. If you want the plant to bloom, you must try to keep the environment around it at a suitable temperature, that is, between fifteen and twenty-eight degrees Celsius. In summer, measures should be taken to control the temperature, which should not exceed 30 degrees. In winter, methods should be used to increase the temperature. Temperatures below 5 degrees will cause harm to plants.

illumination:

This is naturally an important part that must be mentioned, because Huang Li particularly likes warm sunshine. The more light it gets, the better it grows. Except for the midsummer season when appropriate shading measures must be taken for the plants, they can receive full-day sunlight in spring, autumn and winter. Doing so can avoid the phenomenon of pale leaves and loose overall shape of the plant, and of course it is also conducive to the plant blooming out of the pot.

Moisture:

This is of course also a crucial link, which requires mastering skills, that is, combining it with the two factors of light and temperature. Normally, you don't need to water the plant until the soil in the pot is dry. After it becomes dry, water it as thoroughly as possible. Four to five times a month is enough in the summer. In the winter when the temperature is low, use less water as much as possible. When there is sufficient light, you can water it more accordingly; if there is insufficient light, do not water it more.

Repotting:

In order to make the Huangli bloom faster, you can choose to repot it every one or two years, preferably in spring, and be careful to cut off the diseased and aging roots of the plant.

soil:

It is best to replace the potting soil every time you repot. Choose soil with good air permeability and drainage properties.

ventilation:

This factor cannot be ignored. Frequent ventilation can enhance the resistance of plants and avoid invasion of many diseases and pests.

Fertilization:

This is discussed last because Huangli’s nutrient requirements are not very high. Relatively speaking, P and K elements should be considered first.
