Cultivation methods and precautions of Golden Phoenix

Cultivation methods and precautions of Golden Phoenix

1. Soil

Goldenrod has low requirements for soil and can grow well in any soil. However, in order to achieve its best living condition, you should choose fertile, breathable and permeable sandy soil and keep it moist during the seedling stage. Before planting, the land should be loosened and stones removed, and then soil and fertilizer should be added as base fertilizer to ensure adequate nutrition.

2. Temperature

This plant prefers a relatively warm environment and is not suitable if it is too low. During the breeding period, the temperature should be kept no lower than 8 degrees Celsius. Especially in winter, they should be moved indoors for insulation to prevent low temperatures from freezing the plants and causing losses. If the temperature is too low, you should also provide adequate sunlight to improve the plant's ability to resist cold, and reduce water intake appropriately to prevent the roots and stems from being injured by cold.

3. Watering

When planting and cuttings, the soil should be kept moist. When the seedlings are 15 cm tall, the soil can be kept dry. This will help the plants take root, make the stems strong, and prevent lodging. During the flowering season, the soil must not be allowed to dry out and should be watered in time. When encountering high temperatures or strong sunlight, water should be replenished in time.

4. Fertilization

When the seedlings are 40 centimeters tall, in addition to removing the aging leaves at the bottom of the plant and picking the top to encourage the growth of more branches and leaves, you should also apply fertilizer. When applying fertilizer, use diluted manure water, not too concentrated, otherwise it will easily cause the death of plant roots and stems. Before flowering, you should also use well-rotted manure, about 1 kg per plant. After fertilizing, you need to cover the soil and water it.

5. Notes

During maintenance, prevention work on diseases and pests should also be done in advance. Diseased plants should be removed and burned in time to prevent further spread. In addition, certain chemical drugs can be used for prevention and control during maintenance and treatment. During the growth process, in order to increase the beauty and make the plants stronger, appropriate tipping and pruning should be carried out. As long as it is managed and cultivated properly, this plant is easy to care for and can adapt to the environment easily.
