Lettuce is usually planted in spring or autumn, but in some places with mild weather, it can be planted all year round. In spring, it can be planted from March to May, and in autumn, it can be planted from mid-August to October.

1. Seed treatment: Lettuce is a relatively cold-resistant vegetable and has poor resistance to high temperatures. When planted, the seeds are not easy to germinate, so they need to be germinated so that they can grow faster after sowing.

2. Land preparation and fertilization: Lettuce has a relatively weak root system, so it needs to be planted in loose soil that retains water and fertilizer. In order to improve fertility, sufficient base fertilizer should also be applied.

3. Sowing and seedling raising: When planting, mix the seeds and fine soil, then scatter them in the nursery field, and then cover them with film. If sowing in summer or spring, shade treatment is required.

After sowing, lettuce needs a good ventilation environment to reduce the occurrence of diseases and pests. The temperature should also be suitable at normal times.
