1. Maintenance methods

1. Temperature: Generally speaking, the habits of different varieties of maple trees are slightly different, but the suitable range for their growth is generally between 15 and 30 degrees. 2. Sunlight: Generally speaking, maple trees do not require too much sunlight. If it is exposed to very strong sunlight for a long time, its leaves may be sunburned, and may shrink or fall off. It's okay to have a little diffuse light or keep it in a cool place.

3. Watering: Maple trees require relatively more water, especially when they grow quickly. Therefore, it is better to keep the substrate moist. However, it should not be too waterlogged. You need to choose a place with good drainage to plant it to avoid too much water accumulation during the rainy season.

4. Fertilization: You don’t need to apply too much fertilizer at normal times. Concentrated maple trees can be fertilized in concentrated areas, mainly during the growth period.

1. Reproduction: Seed propagation can be adopted. When the fruits are ripe, they can be collected. After drying for three to five days, you can remove the peel, take out the seeds and store them. When it’s time to sow, you can germinate them first. After choosing the sowing site, you can sow the seeds. Before sowing, it is best to mix sufficient base fertilizer into the soil. Seedlings will emerge about fifteen to twenty days after sowing.

2. Pruning: Maple trees can be properly pruned at ordinary times. Especially when the branches and leaves are very messy. In addition, it can also be made into a potted plant for viewing at home, so its shape must be properly handled.

3. Problem diagnosis and treatment

1. Disease: The most important disease is "powdery mildew". It is more common in the summer, when the temperature and humidity are very high. It can be prevented and treated with pesticides such as fenacet.

2. Pests: There are mainly two types, one is "thorn moth" and the other is "aphid", which can be prevented and controlled with targeted drugs respectively.
