Seed selection

Choose seeds that are of good quality, plump and complete, which can increase the germination rate.

Planting time

If you want the plants to grow well, the planting time is also a big factor, and the suitable time for planting chrysanthemum seeds is between March and June each year.

Preparation before sowing

Try to use finer and nutrient-rich soil in the pot and water it sufficiently.

Method of operation

Then place the seeds evenly on the top layer of the soil, cover them with 2 cm thick soil, and sprinkle water to keep the soil at a certain degree of moisture. If the temperature is too low, you can also cover it with a layer of plastic film. Remove the film during the day to ventilate and water, and then cover it again at night.

When the height of the buds reaches 2 cm to 5 cm, they can be retained or transplanted according to the situation of the small buds, and those with weaker growth and relatively smaller ones can be removed.

The spacing after planting should be at least 4 cm x 3 cm to prevent the plants from being too dense when they grow up, which will cause all the plants to be unable to grow healthily. Too dense a spacing will also cause many diseases and pests.

When the weather gets warmer, you can move it outdoors, but be careful to shade it from overly strong sunlight. Water thoroughly when the soil is dry.
