1. Digging holes for seedling cultivation

The general method of planting grapes is to plant seedlings. After the seedlings are prepared, cover them with soil and add an appropriate amount of mixed fertilizer to the soil. When sowing, you can germinate them, wrap the seeds with wet cloth, and then transplant them in April-May.

2. Moisture management

After planting, water the plants sufficiently and then cover them with film to prevent water loss. Water the plants according to the growth of the grapes. Increase the frequency of watering as the seedlings grow bigger. In summer, water the plants in the morning and evening.

3. Build a trellis to guide vines

When the new shoots of grapes grow taller, it is necessary to do a good job of guiding the vines and apply top dressing. The plants need to be watered once half a month after guiding the vines. When watering, do not forget to weed the plants to enhance water and nutrient absorption and promote the growth of grapes.

Grape planting precautions

Usually the first application of fertilizer is when sowing seedlings, and the second application is during the grape fruiting period. At this time, phosphorus fertilizer and other trace element fertilizers are applied. It usually takes about three times between the beginning of grape budding and flowering. It should be noted that the number of waterings should be reduced during the flowering period, and the watering time should be changed according to the rainfall conditions at the time during the fruiting period.
