Succulent growth conditions and characteristics

Succulent growing conditions

Succulents love light very much, so they are suitable for growing in a sunny environment. Generally, they have many origins, and are most common in Africa, especially in South Africa.

The suitable temperature for growing succulents is about 25 degrees Celsius. Different varieties have different cold resistance. Some cold-resistant varieties can withstand temperatures as low as minus 5 degrees Celsius, while non-cold-resistant varieties can withstand temperatures as low as 10 degrees Celsius.

Succulent growth period and process

Succulents generally grow better in the desert because they prefer dry environments. Their growing season is generally spring and summer. The growing period of different varieties of succulents is different, most of them are 5 months.

The growth process of succulents is generally divided into several stages, namely the germination stage, seedling stage, flowering stage and fruiting stage. Generally, it will slowly resume growth after fruiting and will continue to grow until the next flowering.

Succulent planting process and methods

1. Generally speaking, succulents are relatively easy to grow. When planting, you just need to choose the right weather. It is best to plant them when there is light.

2. After planting many succulents, you need to replenish water once every half a month or so. This can promote its growth, but you cannot water too much at one time, otherwise it will cause root rot.
