Tea tree planting conditionsTea trees have a wide adaptability to soil and are suitable for planting in deep, well-drained soil. The soil must be kept moist. Tea trees like a warm environment and the suitable growth temperature is between 20-25 degrees. The temperature should not exceed 35 degrees, otherwise the new shoots of the tea trees will grow slowly or stop. Tea trees are widely distributed in China. The Jiangbei tea area includes southern Gansu, Shaanxi, northern Hubei, southern Henan, northern Anhui, northern Jiangsu, and southeastern Shandong. It is the northernmost tea area in my country. The Jiangnan tea area is distributed in the area south of the Yangtze River, including northern Guangdong, northern Guangxi, central and northern Fujian, Hunan, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, southern Hubei, southern Anhui, and southern Jiangsu. The southwestern tea area includes Guizhou, Chongqing, Sichuan, central and northern Yunnan and southeastern Tibet. The south China tea area includes central and southern Fujian, Taiwan, central and southern Guangdong, Hainan, southern Guangxi, and southern Yunnan. Tea tree planting timeTea tree seeds are suitable for sowing in spring and autumn. The best sowing time in spring is from February to May, while the best sowing time in autumn is from August to October. The germination rate is very high. Benefits of Tea Tree PlantingIf we calculate based on 90 seedlings per acre, and if the oil tea trees are well taken care of during the growth period, one seed can produce 6-10 kg of oil tea fruit. If they are dried, the weight of the dry oil tea seeds will be around 3 kg. Therefore, the tea seed yield of one acre of oil tea trees is about 200 kg. Calculated based on an oil yield of 23%, the oil yield per acre is about 45 kilograms, and the market price is 80 yuan per kilogram, so the gross income is 3,600 yuan. Excluding the cost of 1,200 yuan, the income per acre is 2,400 yuan, so 100 acres can generate an income of 240,000 yuan. |
