Can Bolu be grown by leaf cutting?

Pollen can be propagated by leaf cuttings, but the survival rate may not be very high. You can choose to do it in spring from May to June. The ambient temperature should be between 15-25℃, so that the survival rate of the plant is the highest.

Method and steps of leaf cutting of Bolu

1. Cut the leaves

It is best to cut leaves from a strong, pest-free mother plant for leaf cuttings, and they must be from the top of the leaf disk, as such leaves have strong germination abilities. After cutting, place them on a clean paper towel and let the wound dry.

2. Leaf cutting medium

The soil requirements for Pollo are loose, breathable, and well-drained. It can be prepared with leaf mold, river sand, vermiculite, etc., and be sure to disinfect it before use.

3. Carry out leaf cuttings

It is very simple to propagate the plant by leaf cuttings. After the wound on the leaves has dried, insert the plant directly into the substrate. In the later stage, spray water frequently to keep it moist. The plant will take root in about a month.

Maintenance points after leaf cutting of Pollen

1. After the leaf cuttings, the ambient temperature should be controlled at around 20-24℃, so that the plant will grow faster and the survival rate will be higher.

2. After cutting, Pollen must be kept in sufficient sunlight and placed in a well-lit location for maintenance, but it must not be exposed to direct sunlight. It only needs to receive some scattered light.
