What to do if aloe leaves turn yellow

What to do if aloe leaves turn yellow

1. Adapt to the environment

When aloe vera is first moved to a new environment, it may find it difficult to adapt to the new environment, and its growth will be affected, resulting in yellow leaves. This is normal. Don't take any other measures at this time. Just leave it in its original position for maintenance, apply water and fertilizer regularly, and it will recover after waiting for a while.

2. Apply moisture

If the plant is not watered for a long time, it will be difficult for the plant to absorb water in the pot, which will cause the plant to lack water and dry up, resulting in yellow leaves. Observe the condition of the potting soil. If it turns white, dry and hardened, it proves that the moisture in the potting soil has evaporated. At this time, you can water it appropriately, but not excessively, and wait until the plant itself returns to its original state.

3. Reduce moisture

Not only lack of water can cause yellow leaves. If too much water is applied during growth, the roots will have difficulty breathing normally, leading to yellow leaves. In this case, you need to control the moisture and place the plants in a ventilated place to promote the evaporation of moisture as quickly as possible.

4. Control Lighting

If it grows in a place exposed to the sun for a long time, the plant will find it difficult to adapt and will be sunburned, and then yellow spots will appear on the leaves. You can move it to another location and place it in a diffuse light environment, and it will slowly recover on its own.
