Which months are suitable for planting green vegetables?

Green vegetables can be sown in all four seasons of the year, but the best sowing time is in autumn. Green vegetables are easier to survive in spring. If sowing green vegetables in spring, choose varieties that are tenacious and cold-resistant. If sowing green vegetables in autumn, choose varieties with better disease resistance. It takes about 3-4 months from sowing to harvesting green vegetables.

Green vegetable planting method

1. Sowing: Before sowing, the vegetable seeds need to be dried in the sun for 3-4 hours, then soak the seeds in 50-degree warm water for 30 minutes, then move them to 25-degree cold water and soak them for 3-4 hours, and finally wait for the seeds to germinate in an environment of 20 degrees before sowing.

2. Summer: Green vegetables grow better in low temperature environment, so when the temperature is too high in summer, the quality of the vegetables will be poor. Therefore, the temperature should be lowered to below -30℃ as much as possible and the soil should be kept sufficiently moist.

Points to note when planting green vegetables

1. Temperature: Green vegetables have strong cold resistance and grow better in low temperature environment. They can grow normally at 10℃-20℃. Green vegetable seeds can germinate and grow at a low temperature of 5℃. If they are placed at 20℃-25℃, they will germinate in three or two days.

2. Water : Green vegetables require a lot of water at every stage from seed germination to flowering and fruiting. Green vegetables have large leaves and thick petioles, so the water in the vegetables is more easily evaporated. Therefore, it is necessary to keep the soil moist and do not let the soil become dry.
