Why are the leaves of crabapple curling, turning yellow and withering?

Why are the leaves of crabapple curling, turning yellow and withering?

1. What is leaf curling?

1. Half-watering: When giving it water, not enough amount is given, which is the half-watering situation. The roots are all underneath it. Water is poured on top, but it doesn't seep down to the bottom. Naturally, the places below that should absorb the water can't absorb it, so the plant can't drink the water. If there is not enough water, the leaves will begin to curl. This situation happens frequently. When watering, estimate the amount of water required based on the size of the roots and add water until water can flow out from the bottom of the pot.

2. Too much fertilizer: Any plant needs nutrients to support it, but the nutrients must be applied in moderation. When the amount applied is too much, far exceeding the demand, and some of it piles up at the roots below, it will cause root burns. After it appears, you can dilute the concentration by adding water.

3. Influence of pests: If the leaves curl as a whole, it may be affected by pests. Aphids or leaf rollers are spreading rampantly, leaf curling is inevitable. Opening windows more often for ventilation can effectively avoid this situation, and it can also be extinguished manually in the early stages.

2. What causes the leaves to turn yellow and wither?

When leaves begin to turn yellow and wither, it may be that they cannot withstand the sunlight and turn yellow.
