How to grow the lucky tree and what to do if the roots turn yellow

How to grow the lucky tree and what to do if the roots turn yellow

1. How to breed

1. Light: It is a very light-loving plant, but it can live in a semi-shady environment and cannot tolerate direct sunlight. Generally, if you keep it indoors, you don’t have to worry about this, but you must pay attention to its placement. Although it can tolerate shade, it may lose its leaves if it is kept in a dark environment for a long time without even diffuse light. Especially in winter, it should be placed on a windowsill with better light.

2. Watering: Pay attention to the frequency of watering and distinguish different seasons. Observe the growth status of the plant. In summer, you can water it every 3-5 days. In winter, it will almost enter a stage of no growth. Just make sure the soil in the pot is not dry. Once it is completely dry, you need to water it thoroughly.

3. Temperature: It is suitable for living in a warm environment. The temperature is relatively important. It should be controlled at around 19℃-21℃ during the day and between 18℃-20℃ at night. The summer climate is obviously hot and stuffy and difficult to adapt to. You can put it in a well-ventilated place to ventilate it. The temperature at night should not be lower than 8 degrees. If the temperature exceeds this, you will get frostbite.

2. What to do if the roots turn yellow

The roots turn yellow and then black, which is usually because too much water or too much nutrients are applied. The amount and frequency need to be reduced according to different situations.
