How to get cabbage seeds

Chinese cabbage has seeds, and its seeds grow inside the fruit. Generally, before harvesting the cabbage, we choose healthy plants as seed plants, and then plant the seeds after they are almost mature.

After the cabbage seeds are harvested, they need to be dried, then put into containers such as sacks and cloth bags and stored in a warehouse. Just pay attention to controlling the temperature and humidity of the environment.

What do cabbage seeds look like?

The seeds of Chinese cabbage are very small, spherical in shape, and are small brown particles. When the seed pods turn yellow, they are ripe, but the seeds must be removed before they are fully ripe.

How to plant Chinese cabbage seeds

Chinese cabbage seeds can be planted in spring, summer and autumn. If the temperature is well controlled, they can also be planted in winter. The growth cycle is about 75-90 days.

1. Seed germination: Chinese cabbage seeds need to be germinated before planting. First, soak them in water, wait for the seed coat to crack, wrap them in a wet cloth and place them in a cool place. They will germinate in about a week.

2. Sowing: Level the land before sowing and apply enough base fertilizer. Put the germinated cabbage seeds into it, then cover with soil and water to keep the soil slightly moist.
