How to grow peach blossoms in spring

How to grow peach blossoms in spring

1. Control watering

Peach blossoms are extremely intolerant of moisture. If the water content in the soil is too high, its roots will rot and its branches and leaves will also rot. As a highly drought-resistant plant, it does not need excessive watering in the spring. Watering two or three times a season is enough. If the temperature is particularly high, you can spray water around it to ensure the environmental humidity. If you find that the branches and leaves of the plant are drooping, it means that the plant is dehydrated and needs to be watered thoroughly. It will recover in a few days.

2. Reasonable lighting

It is a long-day plant. If the light exposure time is particularly long, the top will grow too long, which is called apical dominance. The branches and leaves at the top of the plant will grow very densely, while the branches and leaves at the bottom will grow very sparsely. If the lighting time is too short, it will have slow metabolism and slow growth of branches and leaves. In order to avoid the above situation, the light should not be too much or too little. It is enough to ensure 10 hours of sunlight a day.

3. Adjust the temperature

The temperature range suitable for its growth is between 15 and 20 degrees. If the temperature is below ten degrees, it will stop growing. The temperature in early spring is unstable and the temperature difference fluctuates greatly, so there is no need to move it outdoors for maintenance too early, it can be maintained indoors. The indoor temperature cannot exceed 25 degrees, otherwise the branches and leaves of the plant will become brittle. In severe cases, the flowering period will be unstable, the branches and leaves will turn yellow, and other unhealthy conditions will occur.
