How to grow daisies in winter

How to grow daisies in winter

1. Maintenance location

After entering winter, be sure to move the daisies indoors for maintenance. If they are kept in a colder climate, their growth will be affected. When growing it indoors, you should also be careful not to place it too close to heating facilities, as the moisture in the plant will evaporate faster and the leaves will easily dry out.

2. Temperature control

When growing it indoors, you must always adjust the temperature. Some flower lovers will place it in an uninhabited room. Generally, such houses are very cold, which is not conducive to its wintering. Therefore, you should pay attention to adjusting the temperature to around 16-22℃. Such a breeding environment will allow it to grow better and will not affect its flowering in the second year.

3. Reduce watering

The temperature is very low at this time. If you do not pay attention to reducing watering, it will not only cause root rot, but also frost damage. In winter, the cultivation soil should be kept slightly dry, and it is best to have no water accumulation. Especially when the temperature is relatively low, you can stop watering it directly.

4. Light intensity

In fact, when growing daisies in winter, you don’t have to worry about the light being too strong and causing sunburn. It should be noted that it should be allowed to receive light every day and should not always be placed in a dark place without sunlight. It is easy for the plant to grow tall if grown in such an environment.
