Cultivation methods and precautions of fine-leaf cigar flowers

Cultivation methods and precautions of fine-leaf cigar flowers

1. Flower soil

It is best to use sandy soil as the main soil for planting flowers, because this kind of flower does not like too much water. If water accumulates for a long time, it is very likely to cause the roots to rot, causing the flowers to wither and wilt. Therefore, the flower soil used must be selected with preferred drainage. You can choose appropriate amounts of river sand, peat soil and perlite, mix and adjust them according to reasonable quantities to make flower soil.

2. Watering

This kind of flower actually does not require very much water. When watering it daily, just pay more attention and do not water it too much, causing water accumulation. It is recommended that you do not water it based on your feelings. You can pick up a little flower soil with your hands and test the dryness and wetness of the soil yourself. This way, you will not be so careless when watering. Like most plants, water it when it is dry and wet.

3. Lighting

The fine-leaved cigar flower is a relatively light-loving plant. Although it can grow in a slightly hidden location, the plant itself is more suitable for sunny places. It can grow very strong and vigorous whether it is in full-day sunlight or half-day sunlight. Therefore, during the maintenance process, try to ensure a certain length of light exposure!

4. Pruning

Like most trees, this kind of flower leaves need to be pruned. Generally, it should be pruned in time after planting. Appropriate pinching and pruning can better promote the growth of its branches and leaves! In addition, it is recommended that you carry out maintenance in the spring every year, which can promote the growth of the plants, better disperse those overly dense leaves and branches, and help the plants grow better.

5. Special Reminder

This kind of flower does not require too much fertilizer, but it is recommended that you apply top dressing once a year after the weather turns warmer in spring. This will better help the plant grow and bloom in summer and provide an extra layer of protection for the plant.
