1. Why close

Water lilies open during the day and close at night. This is a habit of the plant. They will slowly wake up at eight or nine o'clock in the morning and gradually raise their heads. At noon, they will bloom with bright flowers. In the evening, as night falls, the water lilies will also close their petals. The main reason for this is that it is sensitive to sunlight. When the sun rises in the morning, the water lily will slowly wake up, the outer side of the petals will come into contact with the sunlight, then stretch out and bloom. At dusk, the inner side is exposed to sunlight and will gradually close inward, thus slowly closing.

2. How to grow flowers in a vase

1. Process the water lily first, and cut the stem diagonally with scissors. This will increase the water absorption area and increase the possibility of rooting.

2. Wash the prepared vase, disinfect it, then fill it with clean water and add nutrient solution.

3. Put the flowers in a water bottle, place it on the balcony in sunlight, and then change the water regularly.
