How to grow lilies in small pots

1. Lighting

The lilies in small pots have just been planted and their growth is not stable yet. They cannot be exposed to strong light stimulation. They only need to be exposed to soft scattered light and avoid direct exposure to strong light. More attention should be paid in summer, and a sunshade net can be set up in advance. If you are growing it indoors, place it in front of a bright window.

2. Water

Water thoroughly after planting, and then water regularly during the growth period to keep the soil in the pot moist. The space in a small pot is limited and the water requirement is also less, so watering must be controlled well. Do not give too much water to prevent water accumulation in the pot, which the roots will not be able to bear. During the dry growing period, you can frequently spray water around the flower pot to increase the humidity of the air.

3. Temperature

During the growth and flowering period, keep the temperature at around 20 degrees. If the temperature is too low or too high, it will be detrimental to its growth. Take warming measures in advance in winter.

4. Fertilization

The fertilizer requirements during the growth process are not very high. It is sufficient to apply fertilizer every half a month during the growth period to ensure normal nutrient supplementation. Pay attention to controlling the concentration of fertilizer. Never use too high a concentration and avoid applying raw fertilizer.

5. Pruning

Pay attention to pruning during the growth process, top and pinch the seeds regularly when the seedlings are young, and after the growth stabilizes in the later stage, you can remove the remaining flowers after the flowers fade.
