What fertilizer should be applied to the green radish, and what fertilizer should be applied to the yellow leaves

What fertilizer should be applied to the green radish, and what fertilizer should be applied to the yellow leaves

1. What fertilizer to apply

Green ivy is an ornamental foliage plant. When fertilizing it, nitrogen fertilizer is usually chosen. This fertilizer can provide nutrients for the plant's branches and leaves, making the leaves greener. At the same time, a small amount of potassium fertilizer should be used. If the nitrogen and potassium content in the fertilizer is high, the branches and leaves will grow very fast and the leaves will be thicker.

When fertilizing, you can apply foliar fertilizer or use quick-acting fertilizer, which can be used 1-2 times a month. When using granular compound fertilizer, you should pay attention to not using too much fertilizer, otherwise burns may occur easily, so the dilution ratio must be small. Do not apply chemical fertilizers to it, because chemical fertilizers take effect very quickly. If you pour it on the roots, the leaves will easily turn yellow or rot.

2. What fertilizer to apply for yellow leaves

When the leaves of the green radish turn yellow, it is usually due to a lack of nitrogen. At this time, you can apply some urea or appropriate organic fertilizer. In addition, applying some rice water or beer water to it during maintenance can also make the color of its leaves darker.

3. Notes

Before using rice water, you need to ferment it. Put it in a bottle, seal it, and wait for about 20-30 days. You can use it once every half a month. If you use beer water, you need to dilute it in advance, otherwise it will make its leaves yellower and the roots will be burned.
