How to plant foxglove

How to plant foxglove

1. Prepare seeds and soil

1. Soil: When planting foxglove, you should choose soil with good air permeability. Because the soil with good air permeability has more internal gaps and less pressure, it is more suitable for plant growth. After choosing the soil, expose it to the sun for disinfection.

2. Seeds: When planting, you should choose some healthy, complete, round and full seeds as seeds for planting. Before planting, they should be soaked in warm water at about 25℃ for about 48 hours to soften their shells. This will help them germinate more easily.

2. Sowing

After preparing the soil and seeds, you can start sowing. First put the soil into the seedling container and smooth the surface. Then place the seeds gently on the surface of the soil and cover with a thin layer of soil 1-2 cm thick. Covering the soil is to prevent the seeds from being blown away by the wind. However, when covering the soil, you must control the thickness of the soil. It cannot be too thick, otherwise it will bring great resistance to seed germination and reduce the germination rate of seeds.

3. Post-maintenance

After planting, water the seeds once and then water the soil. Then, cover them with a film to maintain temperature and humidity. If the temperature and humidity are too low, they will have difficulty germinating. After that, water in time to keep the soil slightly moist. After about 10 days, they will sprout.
