What to do if the leaves of the money tree turn yellow

1. Normal Aging

When yellow leaves appear on the money tree, look at the type of leaves that appear. One type is that there is no problem with the entire leaf blade, only with occasional leaves or a few leaflets, and they are old leaves at the bottom. This indicates normal aging, a metabolic renewal, and this process is very slow and not very rapid. If it turns yellow quickly, consider other reasons.

2. Maintenance issues

Another type of yellowing is a large amount of yellowing, which may be a problem with maintenance. The biggest problem is watering. It is relatively drought-resistant. If watering is too frequent or water accumulates in the soil, it will cause root rot, followed by yellow leaves. This yellowing occurs quickly, with the tips and edges of the leaflets turning brown or grayish white. Another cause of yellow leaves is low temperature.
