Causes and treatments of yellow leaves of Molan

Causes and treatments of yellow leaves of Molan

1. Normal metabolism

1. Reason: If there are no other symptoms and the growth of Mo Lan is not too bad, then there is no need to worry. The falling off of old leaves and the growth of new leaves is a normal metabolic phenomenon, which is the plant's own regulatory mechanism to adapt to the surrounding environment.

2. Treatment method: If it is just normal shedding, flower lovers do not need to worry too much. Just cut off the yellow leaves in time to prevent attracting pests. It will return to normal after careful maintenance for a period of time.

2. Waterlogging of the soil

1. Reason: It needs a lot of water during its growth period, but its root system is not tolerant to waterlogging, so there must be no waterlogging in the soil. If the roots are immersed in stagnant water for a long time, the roots will rot and will not be able to absorb water from the soil, resulting in yellow leaves.

2. Treatment method: First clean out the accumulated water, then observe the root rot condition. If the situation is serious, you need to dig it out together with a small part of the soil, and then cut off the yellow leaves on it. Then transplant it into soil with good drainage and reduce the frequency of watering.

3. Nutritional deficiencies

1. Reason: In August of each year, Mo Lan will enter a period of vigorous growth. At this time, if the frequency of fertilization is too low, there will be insufficient nutrients in the soil to support its normal growth and development, and then yellow leaves will appear.

2. Treatment method: Attention should be paid to its growing season in spring and August every year. During this period, the frequency of fertilization should be increased appropriately, and attention should be paid to applying more dilute fertilizers.
