How to solve the rot of tulip hydroponic bulbsMethod 1Remove the bulb, cut off the rotten part , place it in the sun to dry, and put it back in the water. The water temperature for hydroponics should not be too low, and do not pour cold water too suddenly. Method 2This method is chemical immersion disinfection. The concentration of the agent should be low and it should be diluted as much as possible and used up on the same day. It can be used if conditions permit. The solution should be 1000 times diluted benomyl, 8000 times diluted amylopectin emulsifiable concentrate, 8000 times diluted chlorpyrifos emulsifiable concentrate, or 3500 times diluted imipenem wettable powder. Soak the bulbs in the solution for half an hour, take them out, dry them, and put them back in water. (Or soak in potassium permanganate for 12 hours). Method 3First follow method 1 to dry and disinfect. Then spray with 0.1% potassium permanganate solution, spray twice in the initial 4 to 5 days, and then once every 7 to 10 days. |
